kaoha nui, my name is Teiva
I'm native to Marquesas islands (exactly from Hiva Oa) and i tattoo since 9 years. I was inspired by my uncle, name is Lucien Mataiki, who was as a great sculptor on stone (he helped, the anthropological's Berlin museum, to list all the marquesan artworks who are in that place.) I was inspired also by olders polynesians tattoo artists who promoted tatau in Europe (Chime, Roonui, Purotu, Keone Nunes, Paolo sulu'ape...) I try to mix marquesan style and the various inspirations that i have for machine tattoo work. All tatau need sharing and communication with the aim of create something personnal.
